Play-based learning is an important part of Year 1. Through their play, our Year 1 students at MEF International School, Izmir are learning essential skills such as communication and collaboration. Today, some of their play-based opportunities have involved acting out roles in the Forest Cafe, printing using text and paint, partitioning and using manipulatives to create numbers and playing in a small-world setting.
