Learning Body Parts

This week our Kindergarten students have been learning to name body parts. They sang the ‘Mat Man’ song and made a Mat Man out of loose parts, and then used this to guide their drawings. They then used this learning when they welcomed their new Grade 7 Reading Buddies to the classroom. In their first session, together they created artwork of each other; with Kindergarten students drawing their Grade 7 Buddy and vice versa.
