As a homework activity, Our Year 1 students at MEF International School, Izmir reused items such as coat hangers, cups, plastic bottles and plant pots to make simple balance scales. Our children then used the scales in school to compare the weights of small objects. We are proud of our students, as they also used cubes to measure and record weight.
