MEF International School, Izmir is located in Gaziemir, Izmir, close to the airport. It is built on 7,000 square meters of land.

There is a strong, inclusive community atmosphere upon entering the campus. Reception classes (3 and 4 year olds) are located on the first floor of B-Block as is the primary school (Kindergarten-Grade 5). The Secondary school, Grades 6-12, are on the upper floor of B-Block with Biology on the second floor of A-Block. Visual arts and performing arts lessons are located in C-Block along with an indoor pool and gym . The campus features a range of facilities:  a conference hall for small performances, assemblies, meetings and presentations; a whole school library, which houses a wide collection of books and electronic resources for students and families; a fully networked computer lab; and fully equipped chemistry, biology and physics laboratories. There are designated play areas for Reception, Primary and Secondary students. The central garden has a gazebo which is often the location for outdoor school events.

In regards to the technological infrastructure, there is wireless internet access throughout the school, and most classrooms come equipped with large interactive display screens. Teachers and students also have access to a range of Microsoft, Google and Apple applications and programs for interactive learning opportunities. Ipads are also available to teachers for student use in lessons.

Students’ well being is taken care of through our nurse at our onsite infirmary, and our guidance counsellor, located in B-Block.

The grounds of the school are protected and patrolled by full-time security personnel, and the perimeter is fenced and video-monitored.

A healthy snack is provided twice daily in the dining room as well as a hot lunch and offerings from a salad bar.
