Our School librarian has shared a special celebration with us. Nowruz is the ancient Zoroastrian secular Persian new year tradition that celebrates the first day of spring and this year, it falls on Saturday, March 20th at the moment of March equinox. It is celebrated by nearly 300 million people around the world in Iran, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Albania and Georgia and many other places in the world. It is a joyous and happy time.
