Gr 2 students had a GREAT time at their “field trip” to the school composter! They learned all about the composting process from a member of the MEF IS staff. Some students added their own compost to the machine, and some students were even brave enough to touch the composted soil! After learning about the compost, Mr. Darren (aka Santa) taught students about the recycling process at MEF IS and where our recycling from school goes. The students learned a lot and were amazing inquirers.
