Our Grade 2 students have entered into their latest unit of inquiry, How We Organise Ourselves. Recently they received a visit from Mr. Darren, our PYP Curriculum Coordinator as a guest speaker. He taught them about the history of his hometown in Adelaide and how its layout helps the city to run smoothly and effectively. The students took that knowledge and began to design their own cities complete with power plants, roads, markets, and many other essentials for a successful modern-day city. They are especially excited to begin putting them all together in a collaborative model next week!
