Please come to the elementary library to see a selection of Grade 3's Historiated Dossals. Historiated Dossils were an art form common in western Europe during the late Middle Ages. They featured a central figure surrounded by stories from the person’s life. Grade 3 students have created their very own historiated dossals. Some of them are based on the lives of real historical individuals, while some groups chose to make up their own imaginary heroes.

PSHE classes have been discussing the helpful and harmful nature of peer pressure. Daring someone to do better or to adopt healthy habits can be a good use of peer pressure, whereas daring someone to do something harmful or embarrassing is a form of bullying. Grade 6 exhibits this understanding with their “Don’t You Dare” Campaign where they encourage their classmates not to engage in harmful daring games. |
